In the fall of 2021, a small team at Rize started The Rize Foundation to support our mission of reducing tuition while providing LCMC students with better pathways to rewarding careers. The Rize Foundation’s goal is to provide students with scholarship aid to help them obtain a valuable degree with fewer delays and less student debt.

We were thrilled to have received more than 300 outstanding applications and ultimately awarded 24 students at 11 LCMC colleges a combined $20,000 in scholarship money. Click here to learn more about the 2021 Scholarship recipients.

For the 2021 scholarship application round, we honed in on four categories that students could apply to:

Women in STEM

Diverse perspectives improve scientific rigor, and our goal is to lift up women in the high-growth fields of science and tech.

First Generation

Students who are the first in their family to go to college face unique challenges - our goal is to support them on their path.

Campus Life

College is more than just academics. We want to support those students who make the traditional liberal arts college experience possible for their peers.

High-Growth Fields

There are numerous, well-paying jobs that are fast-growing and difficult to fill and we want to encourage students to pursue these highly desirable fields.

A huge thank you to all of the colleges that took the time to share this opportunity with their students. We look forward to continuing (and hopefully growing) this initiative in 2022.
